washbasin and washbowl are the same meaning ... they mean bathroom sink
I filled the washbasin with warm water and washed my hands.
In the general usage, a washbowl and washbasin are interchangeable terms. A basin and a bowl are also, in most cases, interchangeable terms. By, in most cases, I refer to the Rose Basin, just not as literal as the Rose Bowl. What about the Great Bowl, sounds more like a 300 game than an area of the country. A basin, when teamed with the word "wash" is usually fixed, while a basin is usually mobile, or, movable if you prefer.
Washbasin and washbowl are two ways of saying the same thing. It's a container for water so you can wash your hands or small items of clothing.
I always wash my hands in the washbasin before I eat.
