Would it be possible to install a shower pump for the whole house?

If you contact your local water company and ask them to check the mains pressure to your house. It is possible that the pipe run from the main to your house reduces the pressure, the supply company need to supply water of acquaint pressure to be use full.

As you home is a bungalow you will not have the same water head pressure that an normal two story home would have. It is possible to purchase a water boosting pump from your local plumbing centre that will boost the pressure for the whole house to a higher pressure.

turn your water pressure up , find your stop cock , then water pressure will greatly improve

Contact your Water Board and tell them, they should beable to help.

kitchen cold water supply should always be from the mains. the shower, depending what type it is, could be fed from the mains or a cold water storage tank. The washbasin may be fed from the mains, or cold water storage tank. Ascertain which area is fed by which type of supply. The kitchen tap is the first one to sort. Possibly the stopcock in the house is not open enough, try opening it further. If the bungalow is older it may have an iron underground supply pipe from the mains and they rust inwards and greatly reduce water flow.Replacement with plastic would be the only option there. If shower/washbasin are fed from a storage tank it will need to be raised to give a better/higher "head" ( = more pressure ) unless you find other causes such as pipe bores/fittings reduced severely by limescale build up.

Check your internal stop tap is working and is fully open (without using force) if it is, your next move is contacting your water board to ensure the external stop tap is also fully open... If that's O.K. and you happen to live in Coventry, email me...???

I too live in a bungalow and have two bathrooms the showers works perfectly, but my water tank is situated about four foot six inches higher than the shower in the loft, hope this is of use to you

Make sure that your main stop tap is fully open by turning it anticlockwise. If there is no improvement, then ask the water board to check the outside mains pressure (free service) it could be that there is an underground leak somewhere or the mains into your house is scaled up badly.

yes off of a tank fed system both hot & cold through one pump , bowster pump fitted them often in your situation . but you cant fit a pump on mains water thats your suppliers problem to provide adequate pressure
